Remelluri Reserva

REMELLURI RESERVA

Remelluri Reserva is the original Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri estate wine, fruit of the most important vineyards of the property. It originates from the three valleys surrounding the winery — Remelluri, Valderremelluri and Villaescusa — which belong to the municipalities of Labastida (RIOJA ALAVESA) and Rivas de Tereso, hamlet that belongs to San Vicente de La Sonsierra (RIOJA ALTA). Since the Fourteenth Century, these areas have formed part of Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri, the first single-vineyard Rioja property to work with the classic Medoc-Bordeaux method.

LINDES DE REMELLURI

LINDES DE REMELLURI

Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri is the oldest wine Estate from Rioja. This property belongs to two villages; Labastida Alava and San Vicente de La Sonsierra from Rioja Alta.
Some of the best grape growers from those two villages have vineyards touching the Estate of Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri and for more than 30 years the grapes were brought to Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri.

In 2009 we decided to separate those grapes from the others of the Estate and make a new wine called Lindes de Remelluri.

This wine will have its own personality that will be unique and will express the outstanding work of those families that for generations loved and laboured their vineyards. Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri now gives them the opportunity to transform the grapes into their wine.

Lindes de Remelluri will show the best profile from the outstanding villages of Labastida and San Vicente de La Sonsierra.
